Who We Are
Our History
TPOT (The People Of Tomorrow) was established in 2020 as an online platform seeking to advocate for racial equality and combat the misrepresentation of black youth. It was born out of a collective desire to create a positive and empowering space that highlights the achievements and potential of the black community beyond the lens of racism and police brutality. Inspired by the global Black Lives Matter movement, TPOT aimed to provide a platform where black individuals could showcase their hard work and contributions across diverse fields such as education, social justice, art, science, innovations, and photography.
As time went on, TPOT evolved into a non-profit organization. Recognizing the urgent need for sustained support and resources for marginalized communities, we expanded our mission to focus on celebration, empowerment, and resource allocation for the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community. By becoming a non-profit, we were able to undertake various initiatives aimed at amplifying voices, fostering representation, and establishing an equitable environment.
We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can connect, share stories, and find encouragement. Together, we work towards dismantling systemic barriers, promoting representation, and building bridges towards a more equitable society.
Our mission
The mission of The People of Tomorrow (TPOT) is to empower and inspire BIPOC youth of today to become the leaders and change-makers of tomorrow. We are committed to reshaping perceptions, promoting a positive representation of their potential, and providing support, resources, and a sense of belonging within the BIPOC community. Through diverse initiatives, we aim to shed light on the issues affecting this community and create meaningful impact, amplifying the voices and accomplishments of BIPOC youth.
Our vision
We envision TPOT as the largest and most impactful organization where BIPOC youth seek support and feel represented. Our goal is to provide a transformative platform that showcases the dreams, achievements, and aspirations of BIPOC youth. We strive to be the go-to destination where they find guidance, resources, and opportunities to realize their potential and have their voices heard. We are dedicated to fostering personal growth, promoting positive social change, and creating an environment where BIPOC youth can boldly pursue their ambitions.
